Yes, CowboyCowgirl.com accepts Canadian postal codes. Wherever we ask for a zip code, just use your postal code instead. However, be sure to enter your postal code in the format of XXX XXX (note that a space is used in the postal code and not a hyphen)

| Does CowboyCowgirl.com accept members from countries other than the U.S. and Canada? |
CowboyCowgirl.com would love to have you as a member no matter where you live! CowboyCowgirl.com requires that a zip or postal code be entered on each profile. Currently, our system only allows U.S. zip codes and Canadian postal codes. To get around this, just pick a place in one of these two countries where you have connections, have visited, or would like to visit (basically, anywhere) and enter the zip/postal code of that place. If you are having trouble finding the zip/postal code of a specific area, just let us know and we’ll look it up!

| How do I change the primary photo that is displayed on my profile? |
To change your primary photo, first go to ‘My Photos’ on the left hand menu. Here you will see the photos that you have uploaded to CowboyCowgirl.com. Under each photo that has been approved to be displayed as your primary photo there will be a radio button. Select the radio button of the photo that you would like to be your primary photo and then click on the ‘Set Primary Photo’ button.

| How do I upload photos to my profile? |
The best way to get your photos put on your profile is by using the upload utility that is on the site. To reach the photo uploading utility, click on the ‘My Photos’ link on the left hand menu (after you have logged on to your account). Here, if you haven’t uploaded your maximum number of photos, you will see an ‘Upload a Photo’ button. Clicking on this photo will take you to a page where you can upload a new photo and enter a description for it as well.

| My age is not listed correctly. What can I do to change it? |
To change the age listed on your profile, first make sure that you have logged on to your CowboyCowgirl.com account. Next, click on the ‘Settings’ link that is on the left hand menu. On the settings page you will see an option called ‘Login Information’. After clicking on this form you will be taken to a page where you can change the birthday that we have registered with your account. After you change your birthday, the age listed on your profile will update automatically

| I Accidentally entered the wrong gender when I signed up. How do I change it?

To change the gender listed on your profile, first make sure that you have logged on to your CowboyCowgirl.com account. Next, click on the ‘Settings’ link that is on the left hand menu. On the settings page you will see an option called ‘Login Information’. After clicking on this option you will be given a form that you can use to change your gender.

| How is my Ideal Match list created? |
Your Ideal Match list is created automatically. In a nutshell, our matching takes the requirements that you have put in your Idea Profile and runs them against the profile attributes of other members. If a member falls within your ideal requirements, then they are added to your Ideal Match List. On the other hand, your attributes are run against the ideal requirements of the other members as well. This ensures that any members that are in your Ideal Match List fall within your requirements and that you fall within theirs.

| Am I allowed to include my email address in my messages? |
Most definitely. Our policy is that once you have paid for a subscription (or a member contacting you has paid for a subscription) you deserve full run of the site. In turn, feel free to send any type of personal information to another member through the messaging system. However, please use caution and discretion when sending out your personal information. We would like to think that every member at CowboyCowgirl.com is an upstanding member, but we can never be completely certain.

| Will I be notified when I receive a new message in my Inbox? |
Yes, we will send you an email each time you receive a new CowboyCowgirl.com message from another member. If you would like to disable this feature, and not be sent an email when you receive a new message, you can do so by clicking on the ‘Settings’ link on the left hand menu and adjusting the options under ‘Messaging’.

| What do I get with my free, basic membership? |
With your free CowboyCowgirl.com account and profile you get almost everything that CowboyCowgirl.com has to offer!
You can personalize your profile by entering information about yourself, your ideal match, and by uploading up to five of your photos. You can perform all searches on the site, including basic, advanced, and username searches. You will also be provided a list of ideal matches.
A basic membership allows you to send and receive Hat Tips, receive messages, and reply to messages that have been sent to you. Also, you have access to the CowboyCowgirl.com Messenger so that you can chat one-on-one with other members in real-time.

| What do I not get with a basic membership? |
With a basic membership, you do not receive the ability to send new messages to other members. This means that you cannot send a message to another member unless they have sent a message to you first. (After another member has sent you a message, you can send a message back to them by replying to the message they sent you.)

| What is the difference between a basic membership and premium membership? |
The difference between a basic and premium membership is that an account with premium membership has the ability to send new messages to other CowboyCowgirl.com members.

| How do I upgrade my membership from basic to premium? |
You can upgrade your basic membership to a premium membership by purchasing a subscription. To subscribe, click on the link on the left hand menu that reads, 'Subscribe Now!' Yes, we will send you an email five days before your subscription runs out. We will also send you another email the day that your subscription expires.

After you have made an online subscription payment you will be taken to a confirmation page. If our confirmation page informs you that your payment has been successfully processed, you will have immediate access to premium membership features.

| Why is the Messenger not loading? |
When you first log into CowboyCowgirl.com the Messenger should load automatically. (Unless you have this feature disabled in your account options.) If the Messenger window does not come up when you log in then there could be one of two things preventing it from loading.
The Messenger may not be loading is because your web browser could be lacking the requirements that the Messenger needs to run. Because of the technology that has been incorporated into the Messenger, your browser must be Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher) or Netscape 7.0 (or higher). You must also have Macromedia Flash 6.0 (or higher) and JavaScript enabled on your browser. To learn more about the requirements, where to obtain the necessary items, and to see if your browser is currently equipped to run the Messenger, visit the Messenger launch page by clicking on the ‘Messenger’ link on the left hand menu.
Running a pop-up blocker will also prevent the Messenger from loading. When you visit CowboyCowgirl.com, make sure that any pop-up blockers you may be running are disabled or that CowboyCowgirl.com has been added to your pop-up blocker’s list of trusted sites. If the Messenger is blocked from loading when you log on you can manually load the Messenger by clicking on the ‘Messenger’ link on the left hand menu and then by click the ‘Open CowboyCowgirl.com Messenger Now!’ link at the bottom of the page.

The list of members that appears on your Messenger is identical to your Favorites list. To add or remove members from your Messenger, add or remove them from your Favorites list.

| Other members appear online but show as offline on my Messenger. Why? |
If a member appears as online but does not appear in your online Messenger list then it is because they are online and surfing the site but they are not using the Messenger. If a member is using the Messenger, the last activity field of their profile will read, “On Messenger Now!” If a member is only on the site and not on Messenger, the last activity field will read, “Online Now!”

To change the email address that we have registered with your account, first make sure that you have logged on to CowboyCowgirl.com. Next, click on the ‘Settings’ link that is on the left hand menu. On the settings page you will see an option called ‘Email Preferences’. After clicking on this option you will be given a form that you can use to begin changing your email address.

| How can I remove my profile and account from CowboyCowgirl.com? |
We’d hate to see you leave! In fact, if you just need a break from CowboyCowgirl.com for a while, we recommend that you set your profile to be invisible. Doing this will stop your profile from showing up in searches and ideal match lists. You can learn more about how to set this option in this section.
If we still haven’t convinced you to stay. Then you can remove your profile by clicking on the ‘Settings' link on the left hand menu and then by clicking on the ‘Termination’ option.
